INTRODUCTION

This increase in service requirements is made all the more apparent due to the proliferation of Internet and web based technologies and enterprise integrating technologies. These technologies, while providing substantial improvements over previous versions, are also driving expectations for far greater improvements to come, and it is this unmet expectation on the part of customers that is pushing corporations to reevaluate their supply chain strategies

BRIEF DESCRIPTION This diploma in Logistics management, looks at the total system of Logistics to the management of all activities involved in the physical movement of material, inventory and finish goods from the point of origin to the point of consumption. Effective logistics management can improve a firm’s competitiveness in its pursue towards better productivity and cost.

ENTRY ELIGIBILITY Three (3) SPM credits or one (1) year working experience or other equivalent qualifications.
