OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION IN MANUFACTURING MANAGEMENT

The MBA in Manufacturing Management program focuses on the management skills, knowledge, and attitudes required for a leadership position in the field of manufacturing. Students in this program will gain expertise in general business management areas, as well as a firm understanding of methods and practices in modern manufacturing facilities. Students complete a core set of studies in business topics. Graduates of this program can expect to possess key areas of expertise that are essential to effectively manage a manufacturing operation.

This program does not require an engineering background. Students currently in the program possess a wide range of backgrounds and undergraduate degrees. It is intended for the individual who is currently in- or desires to enter- a management position within a manufacturing company. This program requires a thesis and can be completed in twelve months

The Thesis

The purpose of the concluding master's thesis is to independently demonstrate the identification, analysis and solution of a composite and complex manufacturing problem, using the methodology in the programme. The thesis can be written in  integrated fields like concurrent engineering, computer-based systems for manufacturing planning and control, process development or simulation of manufacturing and control systems.

ENTRY ELIGIBILITY

A Bachelors Degree in any discipline or An Advanced Diploma in Business Administration with three years of supervisory experience or other equivalent qualifications.
